Jill was such a lovely warm neighbour, always interested, always interesting. Jill loved to talk about tennis, having a sneaky gin and her bridge, whilst having a nosy - in a nice way - about our own lives. We will miss her, Richard & Yumiko

A great friend who will be very much missed. Gill was a person who really knew how to connect with people. So many laughs together and too many to mention. Someone who helped me enormously when my chips were down. Really knew how to put a smile back on my face. My shortest friendship of 4 years but the lessons I learnt and the happy memories will live on. She lived life to the full and she told ne she had many a time. Will be very much missed my dear friend. Xx

Dear Gill. We first met at Colets health club for coffee and progressed to nights out, day trips and jaunts into London to the theatre and sightseeing. More often that not, we ended the day in a Weatherspoons! Gill was always game for a laugh and full of wise words of advice. I will miss her dearly. RIP Gill.

Gill was a neighbour for a while before we got chatting on her 70th birthday. She mentioned it was her birthday and due to covid restrictions was unable to celebrate it with anyone. So we had a glass of wine together through the garden fence. I will miss our chats and seeing her pottering about keeping the garden tidy.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
